Wenn du Rootzugriff hast, musst du die max_connections in der my.cnf erhöhen. Stell mal einen doppelt so hohen Wert wie bisher ein.

Ansonsten die pconnects in der vBulletin Config Datei abstellen oder den Server Admin um mehr erlaubte Connections bitten. :)
